Ladies & Their Tramps - Rosetta

Back in December 2010, Kari at A Good Addiction did a post she called "Ladies and Their Tramps" with a list of characters for whom she'd done some unique matchmaking.  In that post, she paired up Kendall from Freefall with Harlin from Suzanne Young's forthcoming A Need So Beautiful. Today, in her newest edition of Ladies and Their Tramps, Kari has put Rosetta from Freefall with Lend from Kiersten White's Paranormalcy. And now poor Seth is all alone!

Hey!  Do you think Kari's trying to find guys for all the Freefall girls so she can keep Seth for herself?  ;-)

Seriously, though, it's so fun for me to see how these characters can live on in readers' imaginations outside of the constructs of the book that I wrote!  And these posts definitely make me want to check out A Need So Beautiful and Paranormalcy so that I can see if I agree with Kari's matchmaking!

Fantasy Movie Cast

Over at Book Junkies book blog, they posted a fantasy cast for which actors they'd like to see in some of the major roles from Freefall if it were to become a movie.  So much fun!  I love these picks -- especially Amy Adams as Seth's mom!

I was also so very touched to see that this blogger made a Best of 2010 in Books list.  She mentioned Freefall as one of her top 5 books of the year, Mindi Scott as one of her favorite new authors, and perhaps the best of all, Freefall as book that impacted her the most this past year!  I have to say, that is such an amazing compliment and I feel so very honored and humbled.

A Good Addiction's Best of 2010 Lists

It's no secret that Kari at A Good Addiction is a fan of Freefall.  I've known it since she first read the book and told me so.  She's also posted other features since. Last week, it finally clicked for me just HOW MUCH she loves it.  She did ten Best of 2010 lists for different categories.  I was surprised and happy to see that each day when she posted a list, Freefall kept showing up. It made five of her lists.  That's huge! I am so grateful for readers like Kari who have connected with my book and told others about it!
