Best YA Romances of 2010

Kari at A Good Addiction talked about The Best YA Romances in 2010 at author Suzanne Young's blog.   Kari gave love to some very awesome books, and I'm excited that Seth and Rosetta from Freefall are listed as #5 on her Top 10 list! I really love what she said about my characters, especially this:  Don't let the cover flap of this one fool you, it’s a romance, and a darn near perfect one at that.

Awwww!

Freefall: Gift Recommendation, Top 10 List, and Fun Blog Feature

Freefall was recently featured at three of my favorite book blogs, which is always very fun for me to see! 1.  Melissa at YA Book Shelf made a list of recommendations for people who would like to buy books as gift for the teens in their lives.  She suggested Freefall, as well as Losing Faith by Denise Jaden, as books that deal with the death of a loved one.

2.  Amber at Just Your Typical Book Blog made an end-of-the-year video counting down her Top 10 Books of 2010.  I'm thrilled that Freefall is her #3!  Here, you can see the rest of Amber's list and watch the short video she made that contains a short phrase or two about why each book was chosen.

3.  Kari at A Good Addiction wrote a fun post called "Ladies and Their Tramps" in which she did some matchmaking for a few of her favorite fictional girls and boys.  Kendall from Freefall was paired up with Harlin from Suzanne Young's forthcoming A Need So Beautiful.  Check out the other new couples from Kari's imagination here!

Tenners Library Giveaway

ATTENTION LIBRARIANS!!!
To celebrate the end of our debut year, The Tenners will be holding a special giveaway just for librarians. One public or school library will be selected to receive a set of 54 books by 2010 MG and YA debut authors.

How do you enter this massive giveaway? So easy. All you have to do is capture one of our books in the wild.* Take a photo of yourself, another librarian, a patron, or even an adorable library pet posing with one of our 2010 debut novels. Send it to us at 2010debuts@gmail.com from your institutional email address. Tell us your name, your library's name and mailing address, and who's in the picture.

Again, only librarians are eligible for this giveaway. Not a librarian? Encourage your friendly neighborhood librarian to enter! The contest will be open until February 15th and the lucky winning library will be chosen and announced on February 16th. Until then, we'll be periodically posting your pictures.

The Tenners would like to thank you all SO VERY MUCH for your support this year. It's been an amazing adventure and we're looking forward to sharing more books with you in 2011 and beyond.

A group of book bloggers is hosting the first annual "Best I've Read in 2010" feature.  This includes tons of guest posts and author interviews as well as book giveaways galore! I did an interview and am giving away a copy of Freefall here.  If you check out the sidebar on that page, there is also a list of all the book they are giving away and links to enter.  It seems that most of the contests are ending December 16, 2010.
